Saturday, September 21st
We are in Northern Calif right now. Just North of Crescent City. We went out to an
area called Fern Canyon this morning and parked next to a big buck Elk. Yup, I said parked
next to it...20 feet.
This afternoon we are off to the Redwoods....Avenue of the Giants.
Our tenative schedule is: Sat, Sun, Mon and Tuesday - exploring North of S Francisco. Wed and Thursday at Big Sur and Monterey. Fri, Sat and Sun at an HP campground called Little Basin (assuming the wonderful people at HP can manage to complete our request in time [nothing has changed]). Mon and Tues and Wed in Morro Bay area and home on Thursday (assuming we can't think of anyplace else to explore) :)
It's interesting that all of our travels in Wash and Oregon required no reservations and no scheduling. However, in Calif everything has to be reserved and scheduled in advance and they'll probably mess that up also. Says alot about Calif. :(
Hey, wait till you here our OPINIONS (Marjie's, not mine... I am not opinionated at all after all) on Oregon and the way they attempt to drive YYYYIIIIIIKKKKKKEEEEEEEESSSSS
