Our group of 35 bikes rode in memory of my late wife, Doris, who died on Thursday November 6th. We rode past where her ashes were spread and then rode to Borrego Springs, her favorite local ride.

It was a touching tribute to Doris. My thanks to everyone.

The plan was to ride to Borrego Springs but we hit misty rain by the time we reached Lake Henshaw. We diverted to Wynola for lunch and dashed for home. Our group of 11 bikes and a car included Paul G., Ray Barber, Jack Jennings, Andy Anderson, Jim Cash, Roger Lake, Ron & Kim Wright, Randy Pettitt & Jeanine, Rick Widmark, Lew Thompson, Mary Barrington, and Doris & Steve Malott.

We rode thru Temecula, out Rt. 79 to S2, and came back via Banner Grade to Julian. Lunch in Wynola and then on to Sunrise Highway.
